Through my Parent Focused Education and Supervised Visitation, I work with families to bring about positive family dynamic changes and offer support towards family reunification. With my mentoring, guidance, and intervention, I assist families as their children transition from foster or residential care back to the home.

Using my extensive skills in cognitive behavioral and solution-focused modalities, I offer an intermediate level of intervention between counseling and mentoring. BFE's Therapeutic mentoring provides youth with individual tools that promote growth and emphasizes individual and personal needs. These skills include, but are not limited to:

New Beginnings is a program designed to the meet the needs of pregnant and parenting youth and young adults (mothers and fathers) under the age of 21. These services are geared towards young parents who are at-risk and disengaged from needed services to support the transition of parenthood.

Monique offers extensive expertise in the areas of domestic violence, foster care, parenting education, mental health, and trauma informed services. She focuses on strengthening parent-child interactions, minimizing ineffective parenting responses, and encouraging ways for parents to effectively manage their children's behaviors integrating both the PRIDE and Nurturing Parenting Programs models. In addition to individualized services, Monique is available to facilitate group classes utilizing these models at local social service agencies, court services, and/or private foster and adoptive care agencies.
